Is Heaven Your Home?

The Good News of Jesus

The Bible makes it clear:

  • “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

  • “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all men because all sinned.” (Romans 5:12)

  • “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

The Hope is in Jesus Christ

Our hope is not in ourselves, but in the finished work of Jesus — His death, burial, and resurrection.

  • “Therefore as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.” (Romans 5:18–19)

  • “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

  • “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:9–10, 13)

What This Means

  • You cannot get to heaven by good works, baptism, or religious effort.

  • Salvation is a free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

  • You must place your trust solely in His death, burial, and resurrection for your forgiveness and eternal life.

A Prayer of Faith

If you are ready to receive God’s free gift of eternal life, you can pray something like this — not just with your lips, but sincerely from your heart:

Dear Jesus, I believe You are God. I believe You died for all my sins and rose again. I surrender my life to You and ask You to be my personal Lord and Savior. I place my full trust in You alone. Thank You for saving me, forgiving me, and giving me the gift of eternal life. Amen.
